Boy, Brownie is really selfish. She just sits wherever she wants and doesn't even realize I'm here!

I was having a nice little nap in bed and she comes over and just lays on top of me. She doesn't even realize how fat she is.

After that, I had to go find a corner to poop in!

Last weekend we went to Carlsbad for a little vacation. We saw the famous bats, and this photo of a big huge bat looks kind of like me!

Rabbits

Sometimes I don't know why we have so many rabbits in this house. Why do we have to live with rabbits? Everyone knows that dogs rule. That's just obvious. Not only do they live here but they get to be on the couch sometimes, and then they pee on it. I NEVER pee on the couch. Taz pees behind it, but that's because he's Taz. I would never do that.

I just was looking at my friend Lynn's blog for her dogs, Sunny and Moony http://moonysunny.blogspot.com/, and found a little remembrance of Pepe. Here's my favorite line:

camping again!

We got to go camping this weekend and stayed in a little cabin in Santa Fe. We had lots of fun but mom and dad had to pee in a cup because the cabin didn't have a bathroom and they were too lazy to go out to the bathrooms outside! Here's me with Daddy who's napping.

four chihuahua weekend

Last weekend we had Elvis and Pogue visit. They were traveling with Phyllis and Aprile. Phyllis is moving to New Orleans with her animals and so they all stopped over here Saturday night for a rest along the route. We had fun playing with Elvis and Pogue but got kind of jealous at all the attention the new dogs got. We're glad they didn't stay! Taz was going to have to kill Elvis if he had stayed.

He'd do it too.

We Buried Pepe

This weekend we buried Pepe. We are planning on planting a nice plant over his grave; we're thinking maybe a bird of paradise. He got buried in his favorite blankie with his collar and tags, and also Zyson, his favorite toy from years ago when he like to play with toys. Zyson is a little rubber caterpiller, who lost his squeak years ago when a rabbit bit into it. But once upon a time, he was very special to Pepe, and if there's a special place for small dogs to go after they die, we're hoping that he'll be happy to have Zyson there with him.

He had the biggest personality a dog, large or small, could have. He was a force of nature. Everyone he ever met was touched (or bit) by him, and remembers him still. He was one of a kind and the world won't be the same without him.

This weekend I was hoping we could go out for a car ride or a walk or something, since it was the weekend and all, but I didn't get to go anywhere.

Last night I thought mom was killing Brownie. She had her wrapped in a blanket and was torturing her and she was screaming louder than I've ever heard anything. I was so scared I pooed on the couch and then ran and hid in my bed barking. It turns out she was cutting her nails. It was super scary.

I had to go to the vet today after I fell down during breakfast. They said I had a seizure. I was just laying on the ground and I peed on myself and even made a little poo. The doctor didn't know what was wrong but when I got home I got to eat half a can of brand new dog food with some pills in it that made me sleepy. So now I'm just taking it easy.
